Speaker: Rev. John Richard de Witt
John Richard de Witt was born in Zeeland, Michagan. The son of the manse, he is a graduate of Hope College (B.A.) and Western Theological School (B.D.), both in Holland, Michigan and of the John Calvin Academy of the Theological University of the Reformed Churches in Kampen, the Netherlands (Th.D.). He also has an honarary degree (D.D.) from Rhondes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He has pastored churches in new Jersey, London, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He was professor of church history and systematic theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He is currently pastor of Seventh Reformed Chruch in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a trustee of the Banner of Truth Trust and an associate editor of the Banner of Truth. he is the author of several books. He and his wife, Jane, have three children, one daughter and two sons.
